High school students take over the Warhol! This multi-faceted project features teens’ unique take on Andy Warhol, with their points of view, ideas, and creative expressions energizing the entire Museum –its programming, interpretation, and display. The Museum works closely with students and teachers from our partner schools, Schenley High School and CAPA (Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts), as well as other schools in the region.
This year’s program features:
• Refreshments
• Art activities, including button making
• Dance party
• A youth-curated art exhibit
• Artworks by teens, on display alongside Warhol’s work
• Teen fashion/art-to-wear show
