Join us for a day filled with pop-up activities celebrating Marisol and Warhol Take New York! Experience Marisol’s enigmatic Pop assemblage sculptures from the 1960s, brought together in Pittsburgh for the first time. Join an exhibition tour with Jessica Beck, Milton Fine curator of art, and enjoy sketching and other artmaking activities inspired by Marisol. Help create a large-scale collaborative assemblage project in the museum’s outdoor Green Space with the Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse, or make your own sculptural masterpiece to take home. In the evening, don’t miss Counterbalance: Redefining the Archive, a night of film, conversation and music (separate registration required).
