I recently had the pleasure of traveling to the Mona Bismarck American Center in Paris for the opening of the exhibition Super Heroes: The Art of Alex Ross.   Conveniently located directly across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower, The Mona Bismarck Center is the third venue of the exhibition tour, following its highly successful debut at The Warhol Museum in 2011 and the Norman Rockwell Museum in 2012.

I stayed in Paris for eight days to oversee the installation of artworks and meet with staff and reporters to discuss the exhibition.  The Director, Eddie McDonnell, Curator, Danielle Berger Fortier, and other staff of the Center were a joy to work with.  Their generosity, excitement about the exhibition, and dedication to their profession were tremendous.  They have an amazing vision for the future of the Mona Bismarck American Center – you won’t want to miss a visit.  The exhibition is on view in Paris until June 15.

The press preview was a huge hit, with over 30 reporters from Le Journal du Dimanche, The Hollywood Reporter, Telematin, and many others in attendance.  The opening celebration was equally successful, featuring local comic book artists and costumed Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman mingling with the guests.
