Sound Series: Soy Sos & Bri Dominique: Dub Corridor https://www.warhol.org/events/sound-series-soy-sos-bri-dominique-dub-corridor/ Thu, 19 May 2022 14:00:25 +0000 https://www.warhol.org/?post_type=warhol_events&p=12087 We welcome Pittsburgh-based musicians, sound artists, and experimental composers Soy Sos (aka Herman Pearl) and Bri Dominique for a special site specific performance, Dub Corridor, developed with The Warhol’s recently renovated side alley, Rose Way, in mind, as part of The Pop District. The duo will experiment with the unique acoustics of this intimate urban alley turned patio/beer garden, with an exploratory, electronic, beat-driven, and dub-inspired set for a relaxed, outdoor summer evening. This performance is an extension of PearlArts’ SYNCHRONIZED: With Soy Sos series.

  • Doors open at 7:30 p.m.

Good Fridays with Artist Typoe https://www.warhol.org/events/good-fridays-with-artist-typoe/ Mon, 25 Oct 2021 19:41:33 +0000 https://www.warhol.org/?post_type=warhol_events&p=11424 Join us for an evening of art, music, and the inauguration of Over The Rainbow, a new mural by Miami-based artist Typoe. The site-specific mural is inspired by Pop Art, memento mori, and Froebel Gifts, colorful blocks that encourage children to make connections in their learning and experimentation. 

This reception is free. The museum is open to the public until 10 p.m. and offers half-price admission as part of Good Fridays beginning at 5 p.m. Music by Jesse Ley of Diamond Life. Cash bar is available.
